A. I'm an adult webmaster and I run a link list called Monica's Reviews, a resource called The AVS Startup Guide, and a handful of AVS sites.
Q. We know that you are one busy little Frog but what else do you got in the works?
A. I definitely have some projects on the go, but as they aren't off the ground yet, I can't tell you! :)
Q. Why did you decide to open up The AVS Startup Guide, your main purpose?
A. I felt there was a need for more extensive tutorials specifically for the AVS webmaster.
Q. Where did you get your nickname, Monica?
A. I went down the alphabet trying to find a good name to represent myself on my link list and Monica was the first one I came across that felt "right".
Q. What's your favorite movie?
A. I like so many movies, I couldn't list just one.
Q. How often do you visit message boards?
A. I think networking is an extremely important part of the adult industry so I visit the chatboards everyday.
Q. Do you believe that there are challenges being a webmistress in a man's domain?
A. Sometimes adult webmasters have trouble seeing a woman as anything other than a potential commodity and this attitude can permeate business relationships.
Q. Do you work from home?
A. Absolutely, it's a relief to no longer work in an office.
Q. If you were not working in the Adult Industry, what else would you be doing?
A. I'd likely be working as a photographer and fine artist.
Q. How long did it take you to build and open up The AVS Startup Guide?
A. Form the conception to the real thing I would say roughly 2 weeks of HELL!! But I mean it's an ongoing process and it grows day by day.
Q. Did you design the site yourself?
A. I design all of my sites myself.
Q. What do you like most about this Industry?
A. The freedom to work for myself and the potential to earn a decent living doing something that I love to do.
Q. Do you eat a lot of chocolate?
A. Do I ever!
Q. Where did you learn about the Adult biz, where did you get most of your info?
A. When I jumped into the adult side of business online, I found adult webmaster resources like Cozy Frog and read everything I could.
Q. What would be your advice to a newbie webmaster?
A. Jump in with both feet, and start working hard.
Q. How often do you update Monica's Review?
A. I update Monica's Reviews daily, which means I spend a good portion of my day trying to locate porn that is somehow unique from the mainstream.
