Sites like
ZIPContent are getting rare. If you search for/buy content from any of the many providers on the adult Internet, you know what I mean. ZIP is one of the few content providers that allow you to browse for products without registering first.
I shop for content on occasion. I buy a few sets from time to time. I’m not big customer by any stretch of the imagination. However, I research adult webmaster resources for a living. When I compose articles I try to include in them links to sites that I feel apply to the subject matter. I may not buy a lot of content but I visit content providers sites a lot. Signing up to view content is a big fat, pain in the ass for me. I can just imagine how hard it is for the regular content shopper.

"Looking for just the right content is time-consuming and the moments spent -signing up for browsing access- are luxuries some of us don't have." |
Understand, I’m not going to tell anyone how to run his or her business. I know good and well why content providers make you sign up before you can see the merchandise. They do it to protect their content and their livelihoods. Their livelihoods are protected because pre-registration helps to keep kids and the easily offended out of their virtual stores. They protect their content because some jerks have the nasty habit of stealing even watermarked images. Making a webmaster jump through an additional hoop isn’t that unreasonable of a request.
Setting up the kind of protection that some providers have, means buying expensive DRM software or having a genius programmer. Content providers tend to me more artistic than geeky. A sign up form is a great, low-tech way to handle troublemakers.
Still, signing up for all those content sites is time-consuming and a little irritating when you’ve got money to spend and a niche to fill.
Fortunately, someone saw the need for a way to save adult webmasters from this kind of frustration. I have found the most awesome tool for the content shopper and coincidentally, that’s the name of this grand service: ContentShopper.com
Here’s how it works:
Adult providers pay a fee to have their products listed on the Content Shopper site. Adult webmasters get to browse all the images and video listed on Content Shopper absolutely free. When a webmaster finds a product they like, they click the link and they are taken inside the site of that particular provider. Kind of like a master passkey for all the providers listed there. Naturally, you’ll have to sign up to a certain provider if you intend to buy but you’d do that anyway.
What’s even better is the shopper site allows you to conduct advanced searches by category. You can look for blondes, anal videos, leased feeds. You can search by provider or price range or number of images or any other number of query possibilities.
This site gives you something we all need, which is time. More time to build and promote our sites. More time to refine our skills. More time to make money by spending money.
Not all content providers make you register to view their products. Still, a content provider has the right to run their business the best way they can. When a provider asks you for a little more of your time, it’s generally worth the effort to give it to them.
Nevertheless there are some adult webmasters who will never buy from a provider simply because that provider shuts them out, right at the front door. Webmasters don’t see the red tape in the same way the providers do. Content-buying adult webmasters just want to know if a given site carries what they need at the price they want. Looking for just the right content is time-consuming and the moments spent -signing up for browsing access- are luxuries some of us don’t have.
ContentShopper has saved me time. If I want to browse the content of register-only providers I can do it there without all that hassle.
I hope there will always be providers who let me shop before I register. That doesn’t change the fact that there will always be providers who make you go the extra mile. Content Shopper gives you the tools to make it to your destination.
